Dan Marquardsen, MS, licensed psychologist, has been practicing in Minnesota since 1997. Dan graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1993 with a bachelors degree in Psychology. He completed his graduate training at Murray State University in Kentucky in 1997, earning a masters degree in Clinical Psychology. He returned to Minnesota where he began working in day treatment programs in public school systems. From there he went on to work in a mental health agency in Aitkin. In 2000, he began working with farm families throughout central Minnesota. He also worked in a private counseling agency in Brainerd for many years. Dan has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults who are facing a wide range of mental health issues.
He is a cognitive-behavioral clinician who performs individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy. He is also experienced in completing a variety of psychological assessments.
When not at work, Dan enjoys hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, camping, and just about any other outdoor activity. He also enjoys vacationing anywhere palm trees are capable of growing.
